TNPSC Civil and Combined Engineering Service exam postponed
The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission has postponed the TNPSC Civil Services Examination,
Combined Engineering Services Examination and National Indian Military Entrance Examination.
Examinations in the state have been postponed due to the increase in COVI19 cases across the country.
The official TNPSC official site is available for candidates at tnpsc.gov.in.
According to the official notice, the examinations were scheduled for May and June 2021. The TNPSC
Civil Services Examination was to be held on May 28, 29 and 30, 2021, the Joint Engineering Subordinate
Services Examination was to be held on June 6, 2021, and the National Indian Military College Entrance
Examination was scheduled on June 5, 2021.
69 vacancies will be filled in the Civil Services Examination, out of which 18 vacancies are for Deputy Collector,
19 for Deputy Superintendent of Police (Category-I), 10 for Assistant Commissioner (Commercial Tax),
14 for Deputy Registrar of Co-operative Societies.
736 for Assistant Director of Rural Development, and one for District Officer (Fire and Services),
536 vacant posts of Junior Drugging Officer, Junior Technical Assistant and Junior Engineer will be filled
in the Joint Engineering Subordinate Services Examination.
The Commission will from time to time issue new dates for TNPSC Civil Services Examination,
Combined Engineering Services Examination and National Indian Military College Entrance Examination.
The new dates of TNPSC exam will be available for the candidates on the official site. Candidates are
advised to keep checking the official website.
